Mobility & Wheelchair Use
PARKING
Our entrances (located at 21 and 55 Purves Road, Arthurs Seat) provide assigned, however limited wheelchair-friendly car parks. We have two carparks available and depending on visitation and numbers, we may have both or just one open for parking.
Our carpark at Gate 55 (55 Purves Road, Arthurs Seat) is asphalted however, there is a small lip from the carpark road to the pedestrian/Ticketing areas. These car parks are approximately 20 metres from the Ticketing Window area.
Our Gate 21 carpark (21 Purves Road, Arthurs Seat) is currently made from dirt gravel, which manual wheelchair users may find difficult to navigate across, particularly without assistance. There are a number of dedicated wheelchair-friendly carparks closest to the Ticketing Booth. Please follow the signage throughout the carpark to locate these spots. This dedicated area is approximately 20-30 metres from the Ticketing Booth, depending on which carpark you take.
Depending on booking numbers among other factors, it will depend which carpark is open (such as long weekends or school holidays etc.) During the busier times with an anticipated high level of visitation, you will find that both carparks are open. Please pay attention to the road signage upon arrival directing you on where to go.
PATHWAYS
Majority of the pathways throughout the park are asphalt or boardwalks, however, there are some areas that have stones or tanbark such as our two hedge mazes, Tube Slides viewing area and around the Sky Scramble playground as well.
The asphalted paths and boardwalks can allow access to a large portion of the park, however due to the topography of the property (we are situated on the side of a large hill), the grade of the paths are very steep in some places. Manual wheelchair users will find it difficult to move around the park, particularly without assistance. With assistance, it can be easier however, the steep hills are challenging and tiring to navigate.
Our two main hedge mazes contain unsealed pathways with dirt and/or stones. Given the nature of the hedges, some corners can be tight to get around.
Important Note: please note that during the summer months and other peak periods (school holidays and long weekends), the park is very congested which can impact on the minimal indoor space and general navigation of the park.
ATTRACTIONS
With assistance, wheelchair users can experience some of the property. Without assistance, wheelchair users will find it difficult to move around the park due to the steep topography of the land. The Original Hedge Maze has dirt flooring however, some corners are tight to get around given the growth of the hedges.
TOILETS
We have three main toilet block areas across the park. Two of which have ramp access to them. Dedicated disabled bathroom facilities can be found on the lower level of the Balcony Café building, next to the First Aid room. Other accessible toilets can be found further inside the park down near the Tube Slides area.
CAFE
Our Balcony Cafe (located at 55 Purves Road) can be accessed via ramp. Our Park Kiosk (located further into the park at the Sky Scramble attraction) can be accessed via boardwalk.
Food Allergies & Intolerances
ONSITE FOOD OPTIONS
We have a cafeteria on site that supplies a varied menu throughout the year. Over summer, the menu is a bit more extensive with its offerings. During the winter months, the menu is a little more restricted. To learn more about what our Café offers, please click here.
Due to the availability of suppliers and different ingredients (we operate in a regional location and it can be difficult at times to source products that cater to some unique needs), we do our best to have alternative options available however, we aren’t always able to cater to different allergies or dietaries.
Our Café Team have a manifest of allergens in different products we stock if you have a question about a particular item. We kindly ask that you are mindful of the capacity of the Café and our team when doing so.
If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, we recommend bringing in your own food or picnic.
PICNICS
We encourage guests to bring a picnic and blanket to sit back and take in the gorgeous gardens and natural bushland surrounds.
Please note that table, chairs and pop-up tents are not allowed into the park as they can be a safety hazard for other patrons, particularly during peak periods. Our team may ask you to leave any tables, chairs or tents in the car for safety reasons. Picnic blankets are recommended and allowed, plus there are plenty of picnic tables already situated across the park for guests to make use of during their visit.
Assistance Animals
Service animals are accepted into the park. They must have proper uniform or an official and valid certificate/registration stating they are a registered service or assistance animal. Our staff will ask for proof of this upon your arrival.
Assistance dogs must be harnessed or leashed at all times throughout your visit. This includes all outdoor and indoor areas.
No pets are allowed inside the park. We are located amongst native bushland and have furry friends that can wander through our park from time to time.
Travelling with a Carer
We accept the Companion Card and provide complimentary General Admission access to persons holding a valid Companion Card. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding the Companion Card or to arrange a booking with a Companion Card either via email to info@enchantedadventure.com.au or by phone on (03) 5981 8449.

Majority of the pathways throughout the park are asphalt or boardwalks, however, there are some that have stones or tanbark such as our two hedge mazes, Tube Slides viewing area and around the Sky Scramble playground as well.
Depending on the size of your pram, our two Hedge Mazes are pram friendly. Single seat prams are able to move through however, given the nature of the hedges some corners may be tight to get around. Double seated prams will not be able to fit through the hedge mazes. There is space at the entrance to both of these mazes to park prams if need be so you can still enter and complete them. Please note that our hedge maze pathways are not sealed.
The asphalted paths and boardwalks can allow access to a large portion of the park, however due to the topography of the property (we are situated on the side of a large hill), the grade of the paths are steep in some places.

TOILETS
We have three main toilet block areas across the park. Two of which have ramp access to them. A dedicated Parent’s Room can be found on the lower level of the Balcony Cafe building, next to the First Aid room. Other accessible toilets can be found further inside the park down near the Tube Slides area. There are additional toilet facilities located at the Grand Tree Surfing Harness Room.
BABY CHANGE FACILITIES
You can find our Parents Room located inside the lower level of the Balcony Café building, next to the First Aid Room. There are baby change facilities and bins, a couch as well as a power point if needed.
You are welcome to breastfeed your child anywhere within our park however, should you be more comfortable in private, please ask our team for the Parents Room/Baby Change and we will point you in the right direction.
BEHAVIOUR
Safety is paramount in everything we do at Enchanted Adventure and as such, we are committed to child safety in all aspects. To read our Child Safety Commitment, please click here.
Where a child’s behaviour significantly impacts the enjoyment of others, we may kindly and respectfully ask a parent or guardian to reign in the child’s enthusiasm. Where a child’s behaviour poses a safety risk to either themselves or others, our staff will step in and assist/redirect a child to avoid an incident or mishap.
Neurodiversity
We aim to provide a welcoming and enjoyable space for everyone. We understand that everyone’s needs look different and encourage you to get in touch with our team to discuss any specific questions or needs that you or your companion might have. The following information may assist you in planning a visit to our adventure park.
GENERAL ADMISSION
We are situated on 25-acre of bushland and gardens with a variety of adventure activities throughout the property. General Admission allows you to wander around each of the on-ground activities at your own pace/leisure and make the most of your visit however you see fit.
Whilst there’s plenty of space, some areas can get more congested or loud than others such as the Tube Slides and Sky Scramble playground. Our two hedge mazes can feel busy easily with pathway traffic and different noise levels as people make their way through the maze. Our Children’s Maze as well as our Turf Maze are more open in their layout.
Other areas of the General Admission such as the brainteaser puzzles, MisAdventure Voyage playground and different sculpture walks are more likely to be less busy.
TREE SURFING
Each level of our Tree Surfing courses flows along a secure, continuous wire and finishes by zipline to land back on the ground. Once attached to a level’s wire, you will need to continue the level and complete it.
If you get scared mid-level, it’s one way or the other to get down. Never fear though as our expert team are on the ground and around the course to help guide you through (ideally, forwards) so you can finish off the level. If you need assistance, one of our team can come up to help you move through the course and finish confidently and successfully.
All participants are required to use our equipment on our Tree Surfing courses for safety reasons. The mandatory equipment includes but is not limited to helmet, safety harness and protective gloves.
Please chat to our team prior to booking or our Tree Surfing team prior to beginning your session about any questions you may have and we will do our best to assist.
CAFÉ
Our Balcony Café has high ceilings and can get very busy/loud during peak times with many people in the queues or waiting nearby. Our machinery and kitchen may cause loud noises or strong smells at times.
Guests can sit on the balcony overlooking the gardens to enjoy their food/drinks. This area can become busy/overwhelming. Away from the balcony of the Café, you can find quieter spots to sit on the side decks or at any of the picnic tables throughout the park.
VISITING TIMES
In peak seasons such as school holidays or long weekends, the park can become very congested overall with a high number of visitors each day.
The most common time of day where people arrive/visit the park is mid-morning to early afternoon. This is regardless of the season or time of year.
If you are after a quieter time, we recommend visiting outside of school holidays on a midweek day (Monday to Friday). If you’re looking at visiting on a weekend or during school holidays, we would recommend visiting earlier in the morning right as we open at 9am when the park is at its quietest.
Car Parks
We have two onsite carparks to facilitate our park throughout peak and off-peak seasons. They are located at 55 Purves Road (Gate 55) and 21 Purves Road (Gate 21) in Arthurs Seat.
Our carpark at Gate 55 (55 Purves Road, Arthurs Seat) is asphalted and our Gate 21 carpark (21 Purves Road, Arthurs Seat) is currently made from dirt gravel.
Depending on booking numbers among other factors, it will depend which carpark is open (such as long weekends or school holidays etc.) During the busier times with an anticipated high level of visitation, you will find that both carparks are open and during quieter times, we’ll just have one open for parking. Please pay attention to the road signage upon arrival directing you on where to go.
